Affiliate marketing is an amazing way for you to create the career and life you’ve always wanted, all on your own! Thousands of other people have used it to go far beyond what they ever thought possible, and live the life of their dreams!
But how do you get started? Where can you go for the best training and resources needed to propel your online business? The web is a vast and often daunting place, and it’s difficult to know where to go. That’s why I’ve put together this list of some amazing places for you to get the education and tools you need for success.
So buckle up, and be prepared to work hard and study to make your dreams come true as we talk about what is the best place to learn affiliate marketing!
Paid Vs. Free
This is an important distinction to get out of the way, as I’ll be going over a few of each. I tried to look for the very best, and so that’s what you’ll be getting.
I will say that the majority of the time, the best training will cost money. This is because the person (or people) who made it put a lot of work and effort into providing you with the best they possibly could. A feat that takes considerable money, time, and effort on the part of the creator.
So it makes sense they’d want to get paid for it! After all, would you put days, months, or even years into a program or course and then give it away for free? Not unless you were already completely covered financially!
That being said, you can still find some outstanding resources for free. They may not always be the very best content, but it will help you get started in the right direction and know if affiliate marketing is the right field for you. So keep all this in mind as we discuss our programs today.
One more thing, I have not personally tried all of these programs, but I’ve done extensive research into each and have given my objective opinion on what each offers. The only one I have tried is Wealthy Affiliate, which is one pf the many mentioned below.
YouTube
YouTube in my opinion is the very best place to get completely free affiliate marketing training. It has thousands of videos on the subject, that you can watch wherever you want as much as you want without paying a single cent.
Be warned, however, as there are many who produce cheap “filler” videos, that only give you a few drops of information before they tell you to buy some expensive course. You don’t receive any actual information until you’ve given them all your money.
If you look past all the scams and fluff though, you can find many wonderful videos to help you on your journey. And if you have certain things about affiliate marketing you would like to learn about, then searching for those specific things might help you get better and more useful results.
For example, instead of searching “How to affiliate market” (a very broad topic with a lot of parts), you can look up “How to generate traffic with SEO”, “How to build a website”, or “How to generate conversions”. These are a few examples, but you get the idea. Specificity helps get better results and cut down the fake stuff and sales pitches.
Authority Hacker
This is a very big name in the affiliate marketing field, and for good reason. Created by Mark Webster and Gael Breton. They are both experienced marketers and have been in the business for a long time, with a lot of success.
Their aim with Authority Hacker was to create one of the most comprehensive training you’ll ever find. And they succeeded.
Inside Authority Hacker, you’ll find hours upon hours of content, all structured for simplicity and efficiency, to take you from 0-100 as fast as possible. You’ll learn how to use Google SEO, White Hat and some Gray Hat acquisitions, and many other things.
You also get tons of copy-paste templates for anything you may need in your business, giving you the opportunity to really speed up your work and skyrocket to success.
It is a course that I can highly recommend solely for the number of beaming reviews they’ve received from its users. And I mean REAL reviews, not just people who are getting paid to grit their teeth and say nice things about it.
I will most likely purchase this course in the future, as it teaches many amazing things and has very good credibility as well as many real success stories.
Its cost is moderate (for affiliate marketing courses of course), at $599 one-time or 6 payments of $149.60. This gives you full access to the course and all future content, forever!

Affiliate Lab
Matt Diggity, the creator of the Affiliate Lab, is very well-known for flipping sites. That’s how he started out creating the wealth he has today. He is very experienced in his field and knows what he’s talking about! Most of his training revolves specifically around building and flipping sites.
He also teaches how to use email marketing campaigns to generate traffic and sales. From building your list to automated messages and beyond, he takes users from beginner to pro so you feel comfortable being able to generate sales from your email lists.
He also gives you game plans for every step of the way, allowing you to know what to do and not feel stuck at any point. You can rest assured that you WILL make progress if you trust and follow the process!
This is another course I’m very interested in purchasing in the future. It is however almost twice the price of Authority Hacker, coming in at $997 one-time, or 2 payments of $597. Ya, and it’s not even the most expensive course out there. But nice thing is that you can have all the future updates absolutely free!
But flipping can be an extraordinarily useful skill, as you can take a site making 5 figures a month and sell it for 6+ figures, making many months’ worth of money very quickly!

Wealthy Affiliate
This is the program that I personally use, and I love it for a few reasons, which I’ll share here.
First, it’s cheap. Almost dirt cheap compared to the others. You can get started with a one-week free trial without even putting your credit card in, making it an extremely easy way to get your feet wet in affiliate marketing.
With a Premium membership costing you $49, it’s a lot easier to swallow than many other programs out there. And it comes
with many added bonuses which I’ll talk about as well.
I definitely do not have the kind of money yet to be throwing around $500+, so I chose Wealthy Affiliate.
That does not mean I’m above purchasing other programs down the road, in fact, I recommend purchasing as many as possible once you have the money for it! There’s no reason to limit yourself (and your profits) by sticking to one thing! Branch out, experiment, and see what works for you! There are no limits to what you can accomplish, only the ones you place on yourself.
With tons and tons of training from the founders themselves, members can also upload their own training, so you can find a large variety of different strategies to learn! The main “course” if you will of Wealthy Affiliate is the SEO and blog training, however.
You also get extremely fast website hosting, as well as an extremely useful keyword-finding tool. You can also ask for others to review your site and give you honest feedback to help you improve.
My favorite part of Wealthy Affiliate has to be the community though. When you join you aren’t just met by a bunch of prerecorded videos, but by a warm and welcoming community of people who want to see you succeed. On my first day, I was having a conversation with one of the founders! Where else can you find that?!
Wealthy Affiliate isn’t just a learning tool, it’s a platform of like-minded individuals who want to help you. Ask a question, and they’re there. And while there may be other options with more concise or in-depth training, I personally love the human touch more than anything, and I will vouch for it time and time again.

Affiliate marketing is a great way of earning an online income. As with most things in life, if you want to learn it, you will need to get training. Although there are many “free” training available, free is not always best, and if you want to be successful at affiliate marketing, it is best to get quality training that might cost you a few dollars every month.
I am currently with Wealthy Affiliate and can certainly recommend them. But doing the course with Authority Hacker, could increase my knowledge and chances of success. Is Authority Hacker only a training course on affiliate marketing, or is website hosting also part of the membership as it is with Wealthy Affiliate?

I absolutely agree with you! Besides, if someone put in the hard work to create a course that provided value to me, I’m not above compensating them for it. And Wealthy Affiliate definitely does not ask for much!
It can definitely increase your knowledge! And in turn, your success in business. Knowledge is the key to staying ahead of the competition in any business, so you should always be learning and improving your talents and abilities!
As far as I know, it does not include hosting. What it does contain however is many hours of video modules to teach you, as well as small actions you can take to apply what you learn. You also get templates to use in your business to increase your efficiency. So it does contain many useful resources!
I personally plan on purchasing Authority Hacker as well as Affiliate Lab in the future, as I start expanding and growing my business. But I will definitely keep Wealthy Affiliate for the many tools it has to make running a business and multiple websites a whole lot easier!
